Yes, our hard hats have been tested to meet all the required compliance to regulatory requirements and standards. Type 1, Class C. The testing involved dropping a 7.9lb steel ball for force transmission testing and then dropping a pointed steel spike for penetration testing from over 4 feet high directly onto the top of our Cooler Heads Hard Hats. In addition, our hard hats were again tested at low and high temperatures, ranging up to 120F for the same tests. Wait, there’s more; they were tested again in reverse orientation because it’s cool to wear your hard hat in reverse, too. The nationally and internationally accredited test lab also signs off in the high visibility colors we use. Feel free to contact us with additional questions.
